Outline and operative structure

After a ten years old experience in leader companies in the sector of filtration, the actual partners and managers of Tecnocomp S.r.l. decided to found their own company in 1980. The productive activity is carried out in three establishments, for a total area of 4000 m², which are built on an area of 17.000 m²: everything is owed by the company. The company avails herself both of her own productive structures and the cooperation of companies specialized in the executions of pressings, carpentry and assembly, whose activities are strictly supervised and controlled by Tecnocomp. The activity is devided into two main branches concerning the production of heavy duty and industrial filters and the project and manufacture of machines and complete installations for filter industry.

Heavy duty air filters

In the sector of heavy duty filtration, the company produces more than 400 types of air filters, so to cover the 90% of the applications on vehicles of both national and foreign makes (FIAT IVECO, VOLVO, MERCEDES, DAF, M.A.N., RENAULT BERRIET, SAAB SCANIA, ...). The product is realized by using the same materials and applying scrupulously the constructive features of the filters assembled in origin. In particular, the products are destined to the Italian, European and North African spare part markets, in addition to a part of Italian filter manufacturing companies.

Gas turbines air filters

The cylindrical or conical filter for the application in turbine plants have allowed the company to enter a very specialized and highly qualifying sector. The activity in this sector gave and still gives many satisfactions, because Tecnocomp filters are perfectly interchangeable with Donaldson (world leader) as the same final results were obtained, concerning durability, pressure drop and performance. The most important qualifications were given by big companies users of turbines in Algery, in the United Arab Emirates, etc., who are Tecnocomp's customers since many years.

Dust collection air filters

The sector of dust collection includes many different installations, i.e. painting, sandblasting and welding plants, cement factories, etc. The variety of applications implies that standard filters are mostly personalized through modifications and technical contrivances according to the conditions of utilization of the plant and to the problems that users submit each time. Tecnocomp follows carefully the production of special filtering media cartridges (cellulose paper, different kinds of polyester) in order to optimize the features and the final results of her own filters. The great availability of raw materials in her storehouses and the elasticity of her productive system allow to satisfy the different needs of customers, both from the dimensional and qualitative points of view.

Filters for electrical discharge machines

For a completition of the activity devoted to the production of filters, Tecnocomp has faced the problem of liquid filtration for electrical discharge machining plants (EDM), a sector in which the company is successfully specialized. The standard range of production is limited to the most widespread and used machines. However, the great elasticity of project and production allows Tecnocomp to satisfy all special needs of her customers.

Machines and complete installations fo filters

Tecnocomp projects and manufactures machines and complete lines for the production of air, oil, and fuel filters for cars and for generic motor vehicles, hydraulic filters. In particular, Tecnocomp manufactures:

• pleating machines for filtering media, such as cellulose paper, stainless steel metal nets, polyester, glass fibres, etc.
• compact and expanded polyurethane dispensers
• longitudinal clipping machines for pleated paper
• adhesives dispensing machines
• complete assembly lines for filters

Tecnocomp activity is adressed to the Italian market, but above all, to European and Extraeuropean countries, by offering a complete technical assistance service during the first phases of installation and commissioning both of single machines and of complete lines, by placing her know-how at her customers disposal. Every machine and installation is manufactured in accordance with safety European directives, certified and CE marked.

Raw materials and semi-finished components for filter production

Tecnocomp assistance in filters production is completed by offering customers the opportunity to buy any raw material and semi-finished component for the assembly of air, oil and fuel filters; the deep knowledge and experience in the sector of the main problems allow Tecnocomp to propose any kind of product, customer may have difficulty in finding directly. In particular, proposals include:

• cellulose paper in coils or already pleated, adhesives, polyurethanes
• metal components for oil filters, gaskets, etc.
• moulds and dies for round and panel air filters
• semifinished components in nylon and PVC for air and fuel filters.

Raw materials and semifinished components which are supplied by Tecnocomp strictly correspond to technical features of filters assembled in origin and are provided with technical data sheets which describes their properties.
